Ballerinas,what?

I recently read in one of the most prestigious fashion magazines that ballerinas are no longer in fashion.In fact, the editor had blatantly filed them under the "out" list.

Now, I can't help but wonder how this can be.How come I still see fashionable girls wear them in a most stylish way?And what ever happened to classic values?Aren't ballet pumps supposed to be beyond trends?

 And in a more naive manner why,then, do  top fashion houses still come out with more designs and products?

Ok,you can choose to like them or not.It's a matter of personal taste and self image.But, I don't think you can argue about their status as one of the classic staples of a woman's wardrobe and as such immune to passing fashions,do you?
